Of the many contests that we have run from the Wacom Community, the most popular have revolved around Anime and Manga. In this genre, we have asked for your best characters, Anime girls, and even mobile suits. We are so impressed with the quality of the manga art that is being created in Asia Pacific and we wish to further encourage the talented artists in this region to produce great work for all to see. For our new Anime/Manga contest, in order to allow as much participation as possible, we will not choose a theme. Feel free to express whatever inspires you in Anime and Manga without the restriction of a theme.
In addition to Wacom tablets for our Top 3 choices, we are also providing a Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet as a lucky draw prize. So even if you cannot draw manga like a pro, you still have a chance to win. We will greatly look forward to your entries.
The grand Prize of the Wacom Anime Girl Contest
Contest Period: 5th Feb - 31st Mar, 2010
(ends 11:59 pm, Tokyo time)
Theme: Open - any 2D or 3D artwork without violence and nudity (no fun art too)
*Note: All winners will be eligible for inclusion in Wacom advertising with artist credit, upon confirmation of hi-resolution photo.

Rules: All submissions must abide by the contest and submission rules of the Wacom Community. In particular, submissions may not contain any nudity, adult situations, violence or other obscenities, and must be original (no fun art too). Submissions of fan art or other copyrighted images or characters will not be considered. Wacom reserves the right to reject, remove, and/or disqualify entries at its discretion.
Eligibility: All residents of Asia Pacific countries (does not include China, Hong Kong or Japan). Limited to one entry per person. No entry fee necessary.
Submission Deadline: March 31, 2010 (Contest officially ends at midnight, Tokyo time. Please be aware of time differences when submitting.)

Contest Rules
By submitting to this contest, participants have acknowledged that they have read and will abide by the rules of Wacom Community Contests. In particular, participants warrant and represent that their work does not infringe or violate any third party rights nor contain nudity or other inappropriate material, and that by submitting, they have granted Wacom the right to utilize submitted entries for promotional, marketing or any other activity that does not involve the direct sale of the artwork.
